What to expect?
The program begins with a visit to the Ethnographic Complex “Damascene”, nestled at the foot of the Balkans, in the picturesque village of Skobelevo, Pavel Banya municipality. We will follow the technology of rosary closely and learn interesting facts about the history of the oil-bearing rose and its application:
A seasonal opportunity in May and June is the participation in rose picking. Throughout the year we can visit the ethnographic museum, where objects from the everyday life of our ancestors are exhibited – the ancient installation for cooking rose oil, called “gulpana” (from the Turkish word “gulpane” – rose house), which was once built near running water.
We will have a special presentation about the secrets and healing properties of essential oils, and we will try the aroma of each of them. Get ready for a fragrant tasting of rose liqueur, gyul brandy and rose jam. There is a possibility for lunch in the complex, as the participants in the team building enjoy a 10% discount.
In the evening we stay in a SPA hotel in Pavel Banya, and the next day we indulge in refined pampering in the mineral water. The composition of water is such that it is useful for bones and teeth, for the peripheral nervous system, for the functions of the brain.
Before leaving, we visit the Thracian tomb in Kazanlak. It is part of a large necropolis located near the ancient capital of the Odrysian kingdom Seuthopolis. It dates from the IV-III century BC. and since 1979 has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
